1.2 Game-Specific Definitions

• "Fantasy Team" means the virtual team of professional padel players selected by a User.
• "Roster" means the complete list of 12 players (6 male, 6 female) in a User's team.
• "Lineup" means the 8 starters and 4 reserves designated for a tournament.
• "Starters" means players earning 100% of their performance points.
• "Reserves" means players earning 50% of their performance points.
• "Credits" refers to the 1000 virtual currency units for player acquisition.
• "Fantasy Points" (FP) means scoring units based on real player performance.
• "Tournament" refers to official Premier Padel competitions.

1.3 Subscription Definitions

• "Free Tier" means the basic service level available at no cost.
• "Premium Subscription" means the paid tier with enhanced features.
• "Billing Cycle" means the recurring monthly period for charges.

2.1 Binding Agreement

By accessing or using the OutOfTheCourt Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. This Agreement constitutes a legally binding contract.

2.2 Methods of Acceptance

• Creating an Account on the Platform
• Clicking "I Accept" or similar affirmative action during registration
• Using the Service after being presented with these Terms
• Continuing to use the Service after changes to Terms are posted
• Purchasing or subscribing to any paid features

2.3 Authority to Accept

By accepting these Terms, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement and are not barred from using the Service under applicable laws.

• Each individual may maintain only ONE (1) active Account
• Multiple accounts per person are strictly prohibited
• Accounts are personal and non-transferable
• You may not use the Service if previously banned
• Professional padel players may not participate in competitions involving their own matches

3.4 Technical Requirements

• Compatible device and internet connection required
• Minimum: Android 8.0+ or iOS 13.0+, or modern web browser
• Valid email address and/or Google account required

4.1 Registration Process

• Account creation required to access most features
• Registration available through Google Sign-In (OAuth 2.0)
• By registering, you consent to receive electronic communications
• Registration is free; Premium features require paid subscription

4.2 Account Information

• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information
• You must promptly update information if it changes
• You may not use false or misleading information
• You may not impersonate another person or entity
• Team names must not contain offensive or inappropriate content

4.3 Account Security

• You are responsible for maintaining credential confidentiality
• You are responsible for all activities under your Account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• We are not liable for losses from unauthorized account access

4.4 Account Termination

• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate Terms
• You may delete your account at any time through settings
• Data will be handled according to our Privacy Policy
• Accounts inactive for 24+ months may be deleted

5.1 Platform Overview

OutOfTheCourt is a fantasy sports platform for professional padel. Users create virtual teams of real professional players and earn points based on their actual performances in Premier Padel tournaments.

5.2 Core Features

• Team Building: Create teams with 12 professional players (6 male, 6 female)
• Lineup Management: Set starters and reserves for each tournament
• Live Scoring: Real-time fantasy points based on match results
• Global Leaderboard: Compete against users worldwide
• Private Leagues: Create or join custom competitions
• Player Statistics: Access detailed performance data
• Tournament Tracking: Follow Premier Padel events
• Notifications: Updates on matches, scores, and deadlines

5.3 Nature of the Service

• OutOfTheCourt is a game of skill, not chance
• Success depends on knowledge, strategy, and decisions
• We do not organize or control actual padel tournaments
• We have no influence over match outcomes
• All scoring is based on official Premier Padel data

5.4 Service Availability

• We strive for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
• Scheduled maintenance will be announced when possible
• We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features at any time

6.1 Team Composition

• Each team: 12 players (6 male, 6 female professional padel players)
• Budget: 1000 virtual credits per team
• Player costs based on ranking, performance, and other factors

6.2 Lineup Configuration

• Starters: 4 male + 4 female = 100% of fantasy points
• Reserves: 2 male + 2 female = 50% of fantasy points
• Lineups must be set before tournament deadline

6.3 Scoring System

• Points based on real match results from Premier Padel
• Factors: wins/losses, rounds reached, games won/lost, statistics
• Player ranking and opponent difficulty affect calculations
• Detailed scoring rules available in the Game Rules section

6.4 Lineup Changes and Penalties

• Lineup modifications allowed between tournament rounds
• Free users: -5 FP penalty per substitution
• Premium users: -3 FP penalty per substitution
• No changes after round deadline

6.5 Data Sources

• Match data from official Premier Padel results
• Rankings from FIP (International Padel Federation)
• Official records prevail in case of discrepancies
• Results typically updated within 1-2 hours of match conclusion

7.1 Premium Features

• Reduced substitution penalties (-3 FP vs -5 FP)
• Access to Premium-only leagues and competitions
• Eligibility for prize competitions
• Premium badge and profile recognition
• Ad-free experience throughout the app
• Advanced statistics and analytics
• Priority customer support
• Early access to new features
• Exclusive weekly insights and expert analysis

7.2 Subscription Plans

• Monthly Subscription: €2.70/month (or local equivalent)
• Prices may vary by region and are subject to change
• Applicable taxes may be added

7.3 Subscription Terms

• Subscriptions automatically renew at end of billing period
• Premium features activate immediately upon payment
• Cancel anytime; access continues until paid period expires
• No partial refunds for unused portions

7.4 Free Trials

• Free trials may be available for new subscribers
• Valid payment method required to start trial
• Auto-converts to paid subscription if not cancelled
• One free trial per user

You agree NOT to post content that is:

• Illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or harassing
• Defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or offensive
• Discriminatory or promoting hatred
• Infringing on intellectual property rights
• Spam or promotional material
• Impersonating others
• False or misleading

• Make all team decisions independently
• No collusion with other users
• No use of insider information
• No match-fixing attempts
• No exploitation of bugs or glitches

10.4 Enforcement

• Violations may result in warnings, suspensions, or permanent bans
• Serious violations may be reported to law enforcement
• We may disqualify users and void fraudulent results
• No refunds for accounts terminated due to violations

11.1 Our Intellectual Property

• The Service and all components are owned by OutOfTheCourt
• Includes: software, code, design, graphics, logos, text
• OutOfTheCourt name and branding are our trademarks
• All rights not expressly granted are reserved

11.2 License to Users

• Limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service
• Personal, non-commercial use only
• License is revocable at our discretion

11.3 Third-Party Content

• Player names, images, statistics used for informational purposes
• Premier Padel and FIP trademarks belong to their owners
• We do not claim ownership of third-party content

11.4 Prohibited Uses

• No copying, modifying, or distributing our IP without permission
• No unauthorized trademark use
• No creation of derivative works
• No removal of copyright notices

• League names and descriptions

• You retain ownership of your User Content
• You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use your content
• This license allows us to operate and improve the Service

We do NOT guarantee that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
• Results will be accurate or reliable
• Any errors will be corrected
• The Service will meet your specific requirements

• Fantasy sports involve inherent risks and uncertainties
• Past performance does not guarantee future results
• We make no representations about your chances of success

16.1 Limitation of Damages

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUTOFTHECOURT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill
• Business interruption
• Cost of substitute services

16.2 Maximum Liability

Our total liability shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) €50.
